Kite surfing: Ynyslas - estuary Wind Direction: ENE Wind Stength: 20 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Two sessions today a good hour from 8.30am-10 in the estuary on 9m
Switchblade (should have arrived earlier really, but 7.30 seemed early
enough to set the alarm on a Sunday). By 10 the water was getting low and
wind dying. Went model flying in the afternoon at ADRMC but still a little
breezy for that on the top of the hill. Came back to the estuary at about
5.30 and went out on the 12m as the tide came in. Finally came off the
water after 9pm. Lovely evening in the warm summer conditions nicely
powered on the 12. Flat water but had some fun dodging around the posts and
sandbanks as the tide came in. Watched a few unlucky tourists trying to
get cars unstuck from the sand... NO gloves or boots and still warm after
3 hours on the water. Wow.
